European Pro Bono Initiative is an informal group made up of pro bono managers, lawyers managing pro bono practices for law firms, pro bono associations and companies in Europe. 

MISSION STATEMENT

Participants collaborate to achieve the following goals.

Remove barriers: Identify unmet legal needs in Europe and remove barriers to pro bono to promote access to justice.

Grow: Identify growth opportunities for pro bono in Europe by supporting existing clearinghouses, encourage the establishment of new clearinghouses, organise

meetings and roundtables and build structures to establish standards and quality management of pro bono legal work in Europe. 

Collaborate: Share best practices, resources, and ideas to increase pan-European engagement in pro bono, create synergies between pro bono lawyers, academia and civil society  and value each other as a learning peer group with a view to developing new projects to work on collaboratively.
